| Christ Temple Apostolic Faith Assembly, Inc. | Will add 6 additional raised garden beds to existing 12 – with a focus on easing access for elder congregants; purchase seeds, soil, hose, tomato racks, compost barrel, tools, collector’s bin, and signage. They expect 25 youth ages 6 to 23 to work with Church’s senior members and a designated lead gardener throughout the summer. Produce will supplement church’s food pantry – area is a food desert. | $1,500 |
| Oaklandon Elementary School | Rrevitalize existing garden beds and a greenhouse (including soil testing and then 10 yards soil), purchase two wheelbarrows, assorted hand tools and hoses. Working with The Sharing Place food pantry. Educational focus is on school garden club (being reorganized). Hoping for group of 12 students. That club and a group from Fall Creek Church as well as a staff garden club will work through the summer. | $1,500 |
