NOTE: Follow signs to Nature Center.  Please park in the marked parking lot.  There is temporary parking in front of the Nature Center for unloading & loading plants, plus three handicapped parking places.

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED:  The Plant Sale is not possible without the help of volunteers.  Please check out the volunteer sign-up site for duties and times.  Remember your volunteer time is eligible for Master Gardener volunteer hours. Please arrive at your designated times.

MEMBERS: bring plants etc. by 8:45 am. Earlier is better! This gives the plant sorters additional time to sort and members the opportunity to check out plants, pick up bulb/logo wear orders and perhaps purchase baked goods to enjoy.

SALE STARTS PROMPTLY at 9:15 am.

This event raises money for garden grants and Association’s projects. It is an excellent opportunity for you and your guests to purchase member plants and hardscape items at bargain prices.

Please bring:

  • Plants: Perennials, annuals, natives, trees, shrubs, evergreens, herbs, house plants, vegetables & pond plants.
    • Large, quality and rare plants will be auctioned.
    • Pricing: Small, common plants $2; Larger specimens $4 or $6. These will be offered during the lottery.
    • Please make sure plants are sufficiently watered before bringing them to the sale. To simplify post-sale clean-up, please  seal pots in plastic or foil, or line the inside bottom of the pot with newspaper to prevent dirt leakage.
    • Labels (see below for information to include on your label)

Informational labeling is VERY important for potential buyers!! Please label each plant to show:
1. Common name
2. Scientific name (if available)
3. Height/spread
4. Bloom season, color
5. Growing conditions, i.e. sun/shade, moist/dry, etc.
6. Any other information about the plant that might help the buyer.

Downloadable/fill-in plant labels (download form and fill out, print as many blank forms as you need)

  • Hardscape: Pots, tools, and other garden or gardening-related items are welcome and will be priced for the lottery or auctioned if unusual or of high quality. Hardscape items should be in good condition (no chips or cracks) and include pots, garden tools, trellis, garden accents, etc. No grower pots please!
  • Baked goods: Please package baked goods as a sellable unit. Please list all potential allergens on the package
  • Wagons, boxes, bags, trays: to help unload plants and transport purchases home.

After all 4 colors have been selected, we start over choosing from all 4. Selection times will be 1.5 minutes for the 2nd round.
There will be 3 rounds of 4 color selection rounds.
After that, the remainder of the plants are available to everyone, member OR GUEST.
First come, first serve. No limits.

The Auction will be held at intervals during the lottery and after the end of the lottery.

We look forward to seeing you and your guests at the Sale!
