Blunt Mountain mint (Pycnanthemum muticum) is the Perennial Plant Association’s 2025 Perennial of the Year. This full sun/part shade, native wildflower pollinator has pinkish white flowers and silver bracts. It was an attention grabber during last year’s members’ tour of Holliday Park’s Native Garden. Astilbe ‘Dark Side of the Moon’ is a relatively new (2023) shade- loving cultivar with stunning foliage and purple flowers. It is a stunning contrast among yellowish and light green-leaved plants. Sold in Gal containers for $24 per plant. Notice: limit of 1 plant per order/person.
