2021 Entering Hours

From John Orick, Purdue Extension Master Gardener (EMG) State Coordinator:

Dear Extension Master Gardeners and EMG Interns,

For 2021, the minimum volunteer hours requirement has been reduced to 6 hours. Covid-19 restrictions and their impacts on volunteering will continued to be monitored to determine whether this requirement should be further reduced in the future. EMG volunteers should always talk to your EMG County Coordinator about potential volunteer opportunities.

Please visit this webpage for ideas about volunteering at home:

The minimum requirement of 6 education hours remains for 2021. Many virtual opportunities exist for Purdue EMG volunteers to participate in training and fulfill this requirement. If EMG volunteers are unable to find sufficient educational opportunities, they should contact their EMG county coordinator.
